Preparing for Your First Visit
The purpose of your initial exam is to determine if we can help you. If we can help, we will tell you, if not, we will tell you that as well and we will refer you to someone who can best treat you.
The initial exam consists of a detailed history and a physical exam. The exam is functional and includes range of motion measurements, spinal and extremity joint evaluation as well as orthopedic and neurological testing. If you are a runner, it might also include a running gait analysis.
Many patients comment that our exams are the most thorough they have ever had.
