Dr. Allison Ailor
When Dr. Ailor was a young girl, she often accompanied her parents to their chiropractor. Keenly observing the doctor work his magic and often receiving adjustments herself, her fascination with chiropractic medicine began. That chiropractor was Dr. Bradley Weiss.
Originally from Jericho, Vermont, Dr. Ailor received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 from Northeastern University in Environmental Geology and Mathematics, with a minor in Fine Arts. During college, she danced competitively and was fortunate enough to continue receiving chiropractic care from Dr. Weiss. This positively life-altering care played a major role in her desire to later become a chiropractor. Before doing so however, her passion for dance brought her to San Francisco, California where she performed with Funkanometry, a professional nonprofit hip hop dance company, while bartending in an elegant, quaint, local wine bar. Heading back to her roots in Vermont, her love of dance evolved, and she became a Zumba instructor. Taking courses through the Gemological Institute of America to become an Accredited Jewelry Professional, she began working for Von Bargen’s, a family-owned, luxury, artisan jewelry store. Although happy, she could not shake the strong desire to support others and inspire them in their journey for improved physical well-being. Finally, she decided to take the plunge to obtain her doctorate in chiropractic medicine.
Dr. Ailor received her Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Pinellas Park, Florida in 2020. While in school, she received the community service award, several academic and character-based scholarships, and was a faculty selected tutor in Neuroanatomy, Neuroendocrine Physiology, and Advanced Clinical Diagnosis. She was an active member and treasurer of the Sports Council and Motion Palpation clubs. Additionally, she was the Vice President of the professional community service driven sorority, Lambda Chi. As a student, she simultaneously completed Parker University’s Animal Chiropractic Program and is currently working towards becoming an American Veterinary Chiropractic Association Certified Animal Chiropractor.
Today, Dr. Ailor lives to educate her patients in ways to best optimize their health so they can live their lives to the fullest, pain free. She is thrilled to become a part of the Performance Health Center family. With healing hands and genuine compassion for all living things, she looks forward to changing the lives of her patients for the better.
